Update: KU Indigenous Arts Initiative and the Indigenous Critical Media Lab (ICMLab)

Exciting news: in partnership with the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission, the Spencer Museum of Art, and the Lied Center, the ICMLab will be the KU anchor point for next year's inaugural Indigenous Arts Initiative and film lab/residency.

As the core partners of ICMLab, KU Film & Media Studies, the Indigenous Studies Program, and the Institute for Digital Research in the Humanities will host Sterlin Harjo and one emerging artists in March-April 2019 for the production of a short film in Lawrence. They will work with faculty, staff, and students from KU and Haskell Indian Nations University on a workshop and masterclass series during the residency.
