Screening + Discussion with Seminole-Muscogee filmmaker Sterlin Harjo

The Lawrence community had a great discussion with Sterlin Harjo after last night's screening of Mekko at the Lawrence Arts Center. Haskell and KU production students ate up the professional advice, too. Sterlin shared lessons learned from the production of Mekko, including the value of working with non-actors and screening films for the community, and he offered some hints at television projects on the horizon with HBO, Netflix, and FX.
