Commons Starter Grant Announcement

LAWRENCE – The Commons awarded $9,946 to a faculty research project in the fall 2015 cycle of its Interdisciplinary Starter Grants competition.

Joo Ok Kim, American studies; Joshua Miner, film & media studies; Chris Perreira, American studies, and Magalí Rabasa, Spanish & Portuguese, received funds for their research, which will investigate the relationship between new media practices and activist movements.
